The tubular rivet (also single-sided hollow rivet) consists of a head and a tubular shank, which are formed separately and then joined using special machines. It is made from steel, brass and stainless steel strip and is available in various electroplated finishes.

Dimensions: T = head diameter · H = shank height · P = shank diameter
The double-cap rivet consists of two parts: the upper part (head, female) and the lower part (shank, male). It is made of steel or brass and is available in various electroplated finishes – also nickel-free, lacquered, sublimated or finished with laser and diamond cut.

In the PDF «Products in detail» (page 4) we show our rivets in every available colour as a product photo – with colour number and colour sample. You will also find the PDF under Service & know-how, in English, French and Italian.
The tubular rivet is one-piece: the head and shank are firmly joined and the end of the shank is rolled over during setting. The double-cap rivet is two-part: the upper and lower parts are pressed together and give a clean finish on both sides.
The shank height (H) depends on the thickness of your material. It should be slightly greater than the material thickness – we are happy to advise you.
The open lower part has a hole at the back, the closed one has a smooth, closed back – ideal when both sides are visible.
No. The on-screen display may differ.
Many versions are available from stock. Minimum quantities apply to colours made to order – please send us an enquiry.
When riveting, at least 2–3 mm of the shank height (H) is needed for rolling over – i.e. the part of the shank that folds over inside the head. With a rivet of 6 mm shank height, the material can therefore be up to about 3–4 mm thick. Leather and fabric give a little during pressing and compress easily. Rivets come in various shank heights – you will find the height (H) for each item on this page. We are happy to advise you.
Our rivets are made of steel, brass and stainless steel and are available in various electroplated finishes – from nickel-plated silver and brass yellow to antique copper.
To set rivets you need a rivet tool matched to the rivet size and a press. Without a press, rivets can be set with a hand setter and a hammer. Find out more under Tools & machines.
The hole diameter corresponds to the shank diameter (P) of the rivet. Punch the matching hole with a hole punch of the same size.
