How is a snap fastener attached to sheet metal or wood?
With the snap fastener with screw: the lower part is screwed directly into sheet metal, fine metal, wood or other solid materials – for example into the vehicle floor for floor mats.
Which finishes are available?
Including silver, burnished and black – and on request in the colour of your choice.
How long does delivery take?
Stock items are generally delivered within 1–3 working days.
For special products and custom versions, the delivery time is usually around 2–4 weeks.
Which snap fasteners are suitable for seat covers?
Robust snap fasteners are suitable for removable covers, for example on headrests in trains. They hold the covers firmly and can be released quickly for cleaning.
Which eyelets are used in aircraft cabins?
For example, black eyelets on the seat pockets on the backs of seats. We will be happy to advise you on the right size and finish.
Which tool do I need?
For every snap fastener, eyelet and rivet there is a matching setting tool (upper and lower tool). The tools are screwed into the press and are easy to change. Find out more under Tools & machines.

In covers for engine inlets, thrust nozzles, maintenance openings and sensors, brass eyelets reinforce the attachment points for tension straps and «Remove before flight» streamers.

How are tarpaulins attached to delivery vehicles?
Eyelets all around the edge take up the tension rope – so the tarpaulin stays securely on the boxes even when driving and in wind. For tarpaulins and covers, DIN eyelets are suitable, for example, as their toothed washers prevent the eyelet from twisting.

Which machine is suitable for series production?
For snap fasteners in series we recommend the electric attaching machine MLP 74 / 96, for eyelets and washers up to 20 mm the fully automatic attaching machine for eyelets with up to 100 pieces per minute. For smaller quantities, the hand screw press Mod. 4 AF and the pneumatic T12 are suitable.

How do I prevent snap fasteners from tearing out of synthetic leather?
With washers: they distribute the pressure over a larger area so that eyelets or snap fasteners do not tear out of fabric, leather or synthetic leather so easily. The parts also sit more firmly and wobble less.
