Plastic jeans button
Recyclable and scratch-free – the alternative to the metal button.
The jeans button made of recyclable polyamide (PA6) is fastened with an aluminium tack. PA6 is one of the few plastics that neither break nor deform in industrial laundering. Ideal for workwear where scratches must be avoided – for example in the automotive industry.

What materials are jeans buttons available in?

Are the colours on screen binding?
No. The on-screen display may differ. We are happy to send you samples.
Are there minimum quantities?
Some versions are available from stock. We produce custom jeans buttons from 1'000 to 5'000 pieces.
What is the vintage look?
For the vintage look, the jeans button is embossed, colour-lacquered and deliberately abraded at the edges. This creates a worn effect – in 13 shades from white through petrol to copper.
Are bold fashion colours available?
Yes. For fashion, jeans and accessories, we offer jeans buttons in bold fashion and neon colours. Simply state the colour number in your enquiry.
How are jeans buttons attached?
Jeans buttons are attached by pushing a jeans tack through the fabric from the inside and pressing it with a setting tool and press. Find out more under Tools & machines.
Is the plastic jeans button suitable for industrial laundering?
Yes. The plastic jeans button made of PA6 neither breaks nor deforms in industrial laundering. In domestic laundering it can be washed at up to 60 °C, and it is also Oeko-Tex certified.
When is a scratch-free jeans button worthwhile?
Wherever scratches must be avoided – for example on workwear in the automotive industry. The plastic jeans button protects paint and surfaces and is fastened with an aluminium tack.
Is the print on the jeans button wash-resistant?
Yes. Your logo is printed in one or more colours and is wash-resistant – on any cap colour, and on request also with a metallic or mother-of-pearl effect.
