Jeans buttons are attached with an aluminium tack connection: the jeans tack is pushed through the fabric from the inside and pressed together with the button cap. The Ø figure is the cap diameter.

Jeans rivets and rhinestone tacks
Jeans rivets male (biker jacket) and female (B004…) in various shapes and sizes. Rhinestone tacks with original Swarovski crystals in crystal and various colours are usually combined with a brass counterpart B004/7 or B004/9. Jeans buttons in 14 and 17 mm are also available with Swarovski rhinestones – combined with a 2-point tack counterpart with excellent perforation and hold.

How is a jeans button attached?
With an aluminium jeans tack: the tack is pushed through the fabric from the inside and pressed together with the button cap – using a setting tool and a press. The button is then firmly and permanently attached to the fabric.
Which tool do I need?
For setting you need a setting die for jeans button and jeans nail (top and bottom part) and a press. Suitable tools and presses can be found under «Tools & Machines». We will be happy to advise you.
Which sizes are available?
The neutral, star and garland jeans buttons as well as the plastic jeans buttons have a cap diameter of 17 mm. ALOFX jeans buttons are available in 14, 17 and 20 mm, the jeans buttons with embossing and rhinestones in 14 and 17 mm. Other sizes on request.
Which tack fits which button?
The jeans buttons on this page are fastened with a 9 mm jeans tack. The jeans buttons with embossing and rhinestones are combined with the 2-point Z-Nail 2P tack, which provides excellent perforation and hold.
Which colours are available?
Nickel-plated silver (col. 51), black burnished (col. 123), brass yellow (col. 52), antique brass (col. 14), copper (col. 21), antique copper (col. 122) and stainless steel (col. 38). The colours available for each model are listed with the item. Simply state the colour number with your enquiry.
Are there metal-free jeans buttons?
Yes – the metal-free plastic jeans button is made entirely of polyamide PA 6: cap, counterpart and tack. It is light, scratch-free and corrosion-free. There is also the plastic jeans button with aluminium tack, resistant to industrial washing and Oeko-Tex certified.
What are jeans rivets used for?
Jeans rivets reinforce pocket corners and seam ends that are subject to heavy stress. They are available in nickel-plated and antique copper – matching the jeans buttons.
How are rhinestone tacks attached?
Rhinestone tacks with original Swarovski crystals are normally combined with a brass counterpart B004/7 or B004/9.
Are the jeans buttons available in an assortment?
Yes – many jeans buttons are included in the supplementary assortment 599J: jeans buttons in various versions with jeans tacks and setting tool, compatible with all screw presses. Each item indicates whether it is included in 599J.
Can I have my own logo embossed?
Yes – we produce custom embossing, colours and prints to your specifications: spray-lacquered, matt or high-gloss, printed to match the textile pattern and sealed with protective lacquer. Find out more under “Custom solutions – jeans buttons”.
