In bedding production, quilts, pillows and covers are made in series. Snap fasteners join summer and winter duvets into an all-season duvet or hold covers and ticking securely together – flat, comfortable and discreet.

Which snap fastener is suitable for bedding?
For down duvets and covers we recommend the S-spring snap fastener (Star) – it lies close to the fabric, even on thin materials. For fine, stretchy fabrics, the jersey prong-ring snap fastener (Elegant) is a good choice.
Can snap fasteners be replaced in the laundry?
Yes. With the hand screw press Mod. 4 AF or the pneumatic machine T12, snap fasteners can be replaced directly in the laundry.
Are there nickel-free snap fasteners?
Yes. The prong-ring snap fastener assortment 599E is available in nickel-free silver, including tools.
How long does delivery take?
Stock items are generally delivered within 1–3 working days.
For special products and custom versions, the delivery time is usually around 2–4 weeks.
Do the snap fasteners withstand many wash cycles?
Yes. Our snap fasteners and eyelets are made for the cycle of washing, drying and finishing in industrial and rental laundries and remain reliable even after many wash cycles.
Do the snap fasteners disturb sleep?
No. For bedding we use flat snap fasteners that lie close to the fabric and won't disturb your sleep – even with fine, densely woven ticking.
What are eyelets used for in bedding?
Eyelets are used, for example, for hanging loops and for ventilating duvets and pillows.
Are the snap fasteners suitable for industrial laundering?
Yes. Our snap fasteners are suitable for industrial laundering – the snap fastener itself is not damaged by washing. To ensure it stays securely in the fabric even with frequent wash cycles and heavy use, we recommend, depending on the material, additional fleece reinforcement at the attachment point. This ensures tear-out resistance. We will be happy to advise you on the right version.
How can a summer and a winter duvet be joined?
With flat snap fasteners along the edges, summer and winter duvets are joined to form an all-season duvet – and can be separated again when needed. The snap fasteners lie close to the fabric and remain unobtrusive.
Which machine is suitable for series production of bedding?
For snap fasteners in series we recommend the electric attaching machine MLP 74 / 96 (230 V). It is precise, robust and can be set up for all items by a simple tool change.
